What should I wear?

Wear comfortable and weather appropriate attire. We also strongly suggest not wearing open toed shoes, as you will be walking around working breweries. 

What if I need to cancel my tour?

Please read over our Terms and Conditions for all our cancellation, refund, and rescheduling requests.

What if I show up late for my tour?

You will be receiving a email reminder for your tour date and start time the week leading up to your tour. If you are running late, fortunately the first stop on the tour is also the meeting point for the start of the tour so there won’t be an issue in joining the group. However, you may miss out on a sample or two. So remember give yourself that extra time to locate the meeting point if you aren’t familiar with the area.

How do I purchase a ticket?

All our tours are booked online. All the tour dates and availabilities can be see here

Do I have to book in advance?

Yes, all of tours fill up quickly, especially during the summer months and surrounding the long weekends. To ensure a seat and avoid disappointment, booking earlier is recommended.

Do you have discounted rates for groups of people?

We sure do! We offer discounted group booking rates up to 15 people. If you are looking to book a group larger then 15 we recommend contacting us for a private tour.

Do I need to print off my ticket?

No, just bring your valid photo ID.

What do I need to bring with me?

You will need your valid photo ID, comfortable clothes, and maybe a bag for your take home beers;  and, of course, come thirsty and eager to try some great beer!

How long are the tours?

Tours start at 11am and wrap up around 4-4:30pm depending on the tour you are on.

If I drive where can I park my car?

All of our starting points have been kind enough to offer the lower portion of their parking lot for any drivers. We strongly encourage being dropped off and picked up. You will be enjoying a plethora of your touring area’s finest beers throughout the afternoon.

What’s included in a Brew Tour?

- A knowledgeable Tour Leader guiding the afternoon’s events.
- Transportation to and from the breweries.
- Introduction to the brewing process, from one off brews to core brews.
- Depending on the tour you are on there will be a sit down lunch or tapa style meals provided at the breweries.
- Behind the scenes tours of the breweries and facilities you visit.
- Scenic and less traveled routes around the tours region.
- Plenty of beer samples at each stop!

Do I pay for the samples at the breweries?

No, all the samples are covered with the ticket price. All you need to present is your Tasting Nod when ordering. However, if you do order additional pints you will be responsible for paying for those. 

What are the lunch options?

Depending on the tour you are participating on Brew Tours has created custom menus with all of the food establishments.
With Barrie Brews & Bites tapas style menus in additional to the standard meals we are able to offer veggie options throughout the tour as well.
Our Muskoka Edition we have veggie, vegan options as well as all the meals are able to be wheat and dairy free if need be.
The Toronto Series there is a veggie option that is available for the meal portion of the afternoon.
If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know because we will always do our best to accommodate you or your group.

Can I buy beer to go at the breweries?

Yes of course, we encourage it! Pick up a growler, a couple cans, and seasonal exclusives. Some beers you will be trying are beers that will never make it to the LCBO, Beer Store, or Grocery Stores so get it while you can. You also aren’t going to find fresher beer until the next time you come and visit. 

Can I book a private tour?

Yes of course! Please contact us for more details. Let us know the size of group the tour region you are looking to explore and the date and we’ll take care of the rest.

I don’t have a place to stay in the area or know anyone that does, where should I stay?

There are a number of hotels, motels, resorts, and B&B’s that we can suggest. Contact us and we can point you in the right direction.

How old do I have to be to go on a tour?

All passengers must be at least 19 years of age and have a valid photo ID in order to take part in one of the tours. There are no exceptions to this rule.
